The right to plug is the idea that EV drivers should be able to install charging stations at their premises, especially apartment buildings. It is about switching the status quo rules from being stacked against EV drivers, (making chargers in apartment buildings rare), to enabling them via, e.g. pre-cabling requirements and by making it harder to deny requests for chargers. It’s a key concept in EPBD towards delivering user-centric e-mobility solutions.
